The Pack Monadnock NOAA Weather Radio transmitter will go off the air Monday, June 6 for FAA contractors to perform asbestos remediation at the site. The current plan is for the transmitter to be down for 1 to 2 days. We will be airing an announcement on the station later this week, but I wanted to give each of you a heads-up in case you need to pass the information on to others. Our announcement will indicate a slightly longer “off-the-air” period with the hope/expectation that we may be able to bring the transmitter back online sooner.
