Darrel R. Clark, former New Hampshire broadcaster and NHAB Board member passed away on October 13, 2013 at the age of 75.
His long broadcast career included stops in Massachusetts and Vermont. Clark held various positions in New Hampshire radio including sales manager of WKNE AM/FM in Keene as well as working at New Hampshire Public Radio. Clark also owned WTSL/WGXL in Hanover, NH.
Darrel was affiliated with NHAB beginning in 1980. From 1988-2004 he served as Treasurer, including several years after his retirement to Florida. Clark received the NHAB’s Broadcaster of the Year Award in 1986.

October 21, 2013 at 12:34 pmVery sorry to hear this news. Darrel served his broadcast markets and the NHAB well for many years. He was a class guy who came up the ranks from announcing to sales to ownership.
I’ll never forget dressing up in a Santa Claus suit and visiting his (very) young children at their home one Christmas when I worked with Darrel at WKNE in Keene. Seems like another lifetime ago.
