As graduation season approaches, so to do deadlines for two NHAB member-funded scholarships.
Permanent residents of New Hampshire are eligible to apply for scholarships for 2 or 4-year accredited institutions of higher learning as long as the applicant is:
- a full-time student
- enrolled in a radio or TV-related academic program
The school does not need to be located in New Hampshire.
NHAB also offers the annual Al Sprague Memorial Scholarship to the one student who shows the most promise in industry advocacy, leadership and entrepreneurship. Al, the longtime President of NHAB, died on Nov. 3, 2008. Click to download a Student Broadcaster Scholarship Program application. The application deadline for these scholarships was April 8, 2016.
NHAB also offers financial assistance to children of our member radio/TV stations. Click here for details on the Families in Broadcasting Scholarship. The deadline for this program is Friday, May 6, 2016.
