(September 29, 2016) – NHAB’s membership roster has grown with the addition of Concord station WNHN-LP. Broadcasting at 94.7 MHz, the station features jazz, blues and progressive talk programs of interest to the Capitol Region. The station also streams at wnhnfm.org.
WNHN’s licensee is NH News, Views and Blues. While new to NHAB, it is not a new station. WNHN’s roots are in another low-power FM, WCNH-LP, that went on the air from Hooksett in 2003. The licensee at that point was Highland Community Broadcasting, headed by well-known NH broadcaster Harry Kozlowski. In 2011 the license was transferred to the current owners.
WNHN strives to inform, engage and educate its listeners on social, economic and public issues. NHAB welcomes Station Manager Susan Bruce, Program Director Fred Richards and the entire board of directors.
