Time: 3:30pm to 4:30pm EST
The Communications Sector Coordinating Council (CSCC) will host a webinar on June 16th concerning the Federal government’s new cybersecurity framework. The cyber framework lays out a new set of voluntary guidelines that are designed to help critical infrastructure providers better protect themselves against cyber attacks, applicable to organizations of all sizes and shapes.
Effective risk management requires an understanding of your organization’s infrastructure. The CSCC encourages owners and operators to examine their assets, systems, and networks for potential vulnerabilities that could inform their next steps regarding cybersecurity protection.
This webinar will highlight risk management initiatives currently underway to improve the nation’s cybersecurity and resilience. Speakers from two segments of the communications sector; wireless and broadcast, will provide their views to identify, assess and manage cybersecurity risks.
Topics to be covered include:
– Activities Since Cybersecurity Framework launch
– Cyber Resilience Review (CRR) self-assessment tools and organizational resilience
– Critical Infrastructure Cyber Community (C³) Program Experiences
